The Witches Brew
The Witches Brew is a vegetarian restaurant located in West Hempstead. It has a large variety of different coffees and teas which may be accompanied by a meal or a selection of house-made desserts. Most of their selection can also be made vegan with some exceptions. The restaurant is decorated for halloween year-round which creates a cozy atmosphere. This is by far my favorite restaurant in Long Island when it comes to decor and the staff is amazing, especially the waitress Justine!
Besito
Besito is a mexican restaurant with locations in Huntington and Roslyn. It's a nicer restaurant with a ton of vegan options, just be sure to ask your server because they're not on the menu! Every table gets free chips and salsa (the salsa is absolutely amazing). Plus, this is one of the only non-vegan restaurants on Long Island that I leave absolutely full and satisfied. This is perfect for dining out with non-vegan friends and family!
True Food Kitchen
True Food Kitchen is a healthy restaurant with many locations around the United States. It's not 100% vegan but it has a lot of vegan options. The menu changes with the seasons and the fall menu is my personal favorite.
Rock N Roots
Rock N Roots is a casual spot in Williston Park, New York. It's 100% vegan and the menu features sushi, burgers, paninis, parfaits, burritos, and more. Its a bit expensive but I promise, you're leaving absolutely full because the portions are huge.
The Shed
The Shed is a restaurant with locations in Huntington and Plainview. They have a few vegan options that are pretty nurishing. Its a solid option for eating out with non-vegan friends and family.
Fuel Your Body Cafe
Fuel Your Body Cafe is a healthy diner located in Hickville with an extensive list of vegan options. The diner is super casual with breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. My family loves this place, especially the smoothies and juices.
Sarin Thai
Sarin Thai is locafted in Greenvale, New York. This is one of my favorite restaurants on this whole website. Its not a vegan restaurant but it has a few great, super flavorful vegan options. It's also in my town!
Zen Garden
Zen Garden is a sit-down vegan chinese restaurant in Great Neck. They have a selection of teas along with staple chinese dishes. Zen garden also has a delicious dessert menu that my non-vegan friends love. In my opinion, the dessert here is a must!
suffolk county
The Purple Elephant
The Purple Elephant is located in Northport right on the water. If you opt to sit out-back, the view is beautiful. They have a mostly vegan menu with good options for meat-eaters as well. I definitely recommend this place for vegans eating out with non-vegan friends and family.
The Lindenhurst Diner
The Lindenhurst Diner is a diner in Lindenhurst with an extensive vegan menu, along with their non vegan menu. They have a lot of vegan comfort food which is hard to find in Long Island.
